Brazil shares end lower amid expiry-related trade

SAO PAULO, April 7 (Reuters) - Brazilian stocks ended weaker on Tuesday amid speculation ahead of the upcoming options and futures expiry and fresh reports about Communications Minister Sergio Motta's health, brokers said.

''It was a combination of factors: a falling Dow, selling ahead of the options and futures settlements and news that Motta returned to hospital,'' a senior trader said.
