NO IBM announcement on the CC - or any other financing announcement. Instead Sanders said that they would get a financing sometime in Q2.

Maxwell,

INTC won't try to compete with the K6-266 and K6-300 with the PII, but rather with the Celeron-266 and probably 300, when there is one. People are going to be so confused by all the -266 parts that they won't be able to do anything but buy on price. Both INTC and AMD's prices are going into the dumpster along with both stocks.

Maxy,
Re -- See if Intel can beat this with their PII-266.

The Celeron is reported to be at $150, and competes with the cacheless K6-266. The K6-266 will have to come down in price still further.

Note that the report made no mention of the yields on the .25u.

Also look at the forward looking stmts. They are worrisome.

However one has to give them credit for getting the 300Mhz. Even though it may be the last speed grade on the .25u.

Thus by Q3, AMD will still be in deep doo doo.

Maxwell and all except the newly arrived short selling rabble ,
Did anyone notice the statement that AMD is on track to 100% conversion to .25 by the end of the quarter (Q2) ?
