MOF to brief on Indonesia-IMF agreement 0730 GMT

TOKYO, April 8 (Reuters) - Japan's Ministry of Finance (MOF) will hold a briefing at around 4.30 p.m. (0730 GMT) on Wednesday on an agreement between the Indonesian government and the International Monetary Fund.

Indonesia said earlier the government had completed talks with the IMF on a revised reform package and full details would be released on Thursday.

Separately, Prime Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto said Japan would disburse $2 billion in loans to Indonesia.

Of the total, $1 billion would be in the form of bilateral loans through the Export-Import Bank of Japan and the other $1 billion would come out of $5 billion in loans Japan promised as part of a rescue package drawn up by the IMF in November, Hashimoto said.
