Janice, I realize that my denomination is not large by Presbyterian standards. But keep in mind what I said: Lutherans are HIGHLY fragmented, and I could boggle your mind if recited just those denominations which are historically "decendents" in other words have the same direct roots as my denomination, just going back about 100 yrs. So comparing one Lutheran denomination against Presbyterian or Catholic is not exactly apples and oranges.

Anyway, who really cares about numbers? I like my church, and I like it's size. I like that I can visit any familiy of any congregation of my denomination in the whole world, and be welcomed as a brother. We implicitly trust each other. Everyone is sort of like extended family. I like that.

And btw, I'm not Calvinist.
