scott,

everyting looks good, except for the fact that IMRS's market cap is not 633m. it is more than a billion dollars. cbsl's oustanding shares are more than 26 million.
the reason why cbsl and synt have been rising so much is because of the anticipation of blockbuster revenues and earnings. cbsl made 2 key acquisitions that will DOUBLE the revenues immediately. Synt acquired EnPointe, supposedly a very profitable SAP consultancy.
also, synt is getting help from the momentum players, thanks to cabot.

Scott,

Excellent info in a nutshell.

FY 99 earnings for CBSL, IMRS and SYNT are around .75 - .80 and the stocks are selling around 37, 36 and 47 as of today. If CMND makes .60 per estimates, which is approximately 75% of the above big guys, its equivalent price should be 75% of(36) = 27. Cowen has quoted close to this. The only difference is CMND should be selling at 27 today.

Once street verifies the current quarter's results and confirms the bright outlook for the rest of the year, this stock should rocket in no time. My conservative prediction would be $32-35 by the end of the year baring any major market meltdown.

Dear Scott: Nice job, I appreciate your efforts. I would like to comment that SYNT business is 93% NON y2k work whereas IMRS is at least 93% y2k work (just the reverse). Soon IMRS will have to make some costly acquisitions to survive beyond 2,000. SYNT will not. So by then Market Caps will likely be similar for both and IMRS will be saddled with large costs associated with the Premiums they will likely have to pay to acquire decent businesses--SYNT will not.
Now, as to CMND and Cowen. I am GLAD they gave a 2 level buy rating. That leaves room for an upgrade. If earnings exceed their MEAGER targets VIOLA we get the upgrade and a surging stock. JDN
