all - an interesting turn of events. Personally, I didn't see much into BAY PR, but INSS's disclaimer kinda made me wanna play detective.

I went back to the BAY PR, it didn't say any strategic alliance outright but hinted at that possibility. Nonetheless, one has to say BAY will have to eat some crow about INSS's disclaimer. However, in BAY's piece, it did quote a principal from INSS, Messr John Lloyd. So, have such words been uttered? And why such a high profile about face? Could there be backroom arm twisting to make INSS so eager to make the disclaimer? Being a paranoid <VBG> that I am, I shrudder to think that maybe one of BAY's competitors <you know who> has decided to contact INSS. You know, like the memos MSFT sent to CPQ suggesting that the CPQ's contract for the OS could be in jeapardy if the latter did or didn't do certain things.
