You know, it's hard to believe they could build a tube radio that would survive in a car. Well, it's hard to believe a lot of things.

Which I think must be that shrinking brain syndrome.

Spouse is getting uptight I haven't done my chores..... I'll ask her later about Dale and Dale and Kale and.....

yeah, yeah.. the headliner. Nah, it's a hardtop. I'm aiming
for a convertible. The southern countryside is a great place
for old cars.. even as way back as the ones you like.

I like the look and feel of 'em, but also it is great to have
a car you can actually get your hands in the engine of and
tinker.. tear somethin' apart and get all greasy.. and if you're
real good (or lucky) get it back together again. That last
part gets me stumped alot.

After a few hours sleep post overheated engine in L.A., I went
and got a new thermometer and took it apart and put it back
together again. I wiped my greasy hands all pleased with myself
until I look down and saw the new one still lying on the ground.
oooops. But the second doin' went faster since I'd had practice.
