William, Where or where did you buy your DPMI for it to have "pulled the chair out from under you"?? Having bought at 32, 26, 32, 39, 41, I keep feeling like the seat under me is pretty stong! The gain from 26 is 57%, and even from 32 it is a more modest, but acceptable 28%. Expecting something like 58 this year, I'm hoping to get 40% out of my last buy..
Now, if you bought your shares last year at the peak (around 74), I can imagine that the chair has been slipping away!! :-). Even at this year's high (around 48, I believe?) you would be down 7 points, or less than 15%.. Perhaps there is a chance that your retirement will remain intact?? <g>.. And I hope you make LOTS of money on DPMI over the next couple of years <bg>
TSO is Tesoro Petroleum, and I have owned it...should be owning it now (but I can't own everything).. They are HW'ed out of good old San Antone..where I have spent a few years, and where my son was born. BTW, "Tesoro" means "treasure" in Spanish...and they have been that for a lot of folks.
With congratulations for your winners, and sympathy for your (rare) loser....Cheerfully, TSO
