James,
RE: "NEW YORK, April 7 (Reuters) - The New York Stock Exchange
said shares of Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD.N) were
unavailable for news in after hours trading Tuesday."
That doesn't make sense.

Re -- Is good or bad news for AMD tomorrow?

Good news!!. Any news from AMD is good news.

They are producing 2M K6's next Q, and even though will not make a profit, they will make a profit in some Q after that.

James,

From the numbers, AMD dropped 12% in total revenue and 17% in computational-product revenue from sequential quarter, and some how with yield problem solved, 1.5M K6 were shipped compared to 1.5M previous quarter. All these losses will translate into positive high numbers in the next few quarters, that must be regarded as a very good news tomorrow.

Best wishes,
John.

James
boy Stocky's and John Wang's responses sound really sore :-))
Few points were vague like current wafer production and few more but all in all the news looked good to me. I looked at bloomberg aftermarket and all trades were above 30 even though they were relatively small trades. We might see a short squeeze tomorrow.
