I really like some of the 2k leaps on mo right now. My feeling is that the outcome will be known in the next two years and the price will go up regardless of what it is. I really like the yield on my existing shares, but ...... you know. Any thoughts out there?

"ML downgraded MO today. Wait for several months and they will surprisingly upgrade the stock."

Its funny that you bring that up. I agree fully with your statement, and it reminds me of another stock of mine, Enron (ENE). Last year when I bought in, it was being downgraded all over the place, the stock underperformed the S&P for the first time since 1991. The stock fell all the way down to $35/share from a high of over $47.50/share! Sure enough, around January a sudden rash of upgrades came storming in as the company's earnings came back "stronger than expected." Yea right!

Since then, the stock has reclaimed the $47 level and is now holding at between 46 and 47.

I can easily see the same deal happening here with MO several months to a year down the road. I'm playing this one like ENE, just DRIPing aggressively... and buying when I think it hits bottom.
