Yes..according to the article you posted, Brandywine is still 40% in cash...maybe they bought more today...most likely the spike we were watching shortly after 1 p.m. (just speculating..)

On a more serious note, I think both Capital, Brandywine, and I think Tiger fund must have longer-range objectives for purchasing Asnd. If I remember correctly(from Gary Korn post) that The Capital Group exited Asnd completely around the end of Sep 97; (took a tax loss most likely) and re-positioned a much stronger presence in Asnd. I have to assume that they did their homework well...

I think that they are all aiming for $60 by year end or early next year...
