Sonki,

"why has n't intel learnt to report earnings like thesee [AMD]"

Just like Merced Trader is saying, Intel is concentrating too much on making money. This company needs to devote more attention into PR. Spreading hypes and rumors, I don't care. All I am asking is for the share price to reflect the money making might of Intel (PE of 30, just like the rest of the high tech industry).

John.

re <<why do people believe in amd?>>

I am not a shrink but I have maintained that the answer to this can be found through an in-depth study of beaten-wife syndrome. The parallels are interesting. Jerry beats the stockholders brains in quarter after quarter, apologizes for his behavior but tells them he still loves them and will make it up to them in the future.

I think Jerry's getting a little over-confident though. After beating the stockholders like a red-headed stepchild in Q1 Jerry mumbled something about treating them right two quarters out rather than the customary one quarter out.

Heck all Intel does is make billions of dollars each quarter, how boring!!!

Best Regards,
