As a former VCR technician the reason for beta vcr's not making it, was that they were very hard to repair. Sales personal and technicians steered costumers away from them!! The video quality on beta was better though.
Iomega has the lead as of now. They better run with the ball in the right direction. I think they still have chance to be number one for awhile. Steve S
