Chrissy, I watched the program on PBS tonight, "Jesus to Christ, The First Christians"

I can tell you I was very disturbed by the implications. I have a feeling I should question everything I ever heard or have been taught about Christianity.

There was a 20 year period from the time of Christ's death, until the first gospel was written. The stories about Christ was passed along by word of mouth all that time. I wonder how accurate those stories were and how embellished did they become in 20 long years.

And the account of how Roman paganism and Christianity merged into one was simply astounding, I have never heard it explained so clearly. It was a truly remarkable program.

I'm still trying to digest all the ramifications.

Anyone who didn't see the program and want to read about it can go to the pbs site. pbs.org

Sure does feel like SI's volume is at a low. Not just the Coffe shop but all of my stock threads as well. Is it just spring break or have the masses shifted somewhere else? Yahoo?

By the way Christine,
You may enjoy my second poem.

I hope it makes both sides examine the argument a little more interpersonally. What do you think?
