Jerry, yes it will, but try to remember that around a p/e of 50, the stock tends to top. The forward p/e is much less, but the p/e on current earnings usually doesn't stay above 50 or so for long. If you are buying at less than 47 (p/e) or so, I think you're probably O.K.

Perhaps you should try buying call options instead. I have found this to be an excellent alternative in terms of trading DELL. I'm too happy with my equity position to sacrifice any of it.
