Is there a name for this virus? I'm running T-bird virus scan that so far has picked up internet virus that McAfee doesn't. I had a combination virus of both Monkey & Casper at same time and did that to mine. couldn't even format HD. Was in warranty so WD replaced free with immediate shipment. I then returned mine when got new one.

There is no such virus..it is a hoax....if Microsoft announced it, then you or someone else should be able to provide a link to it on the Microsoft web site. AOL has said no such thing either - in fact, AOL has repeatedly said that such "alerts" indicating that a computer can get a virus from just opening an e-mail, are absolutely FALSE. There is no link to anything on AOL or MSFT because there have been no such warnings from them.....
