Maxy,
Re -- At 0.25um, K6 is a very competitive chip that can aggressively compete with Intel in terms of price and performance.

Until the yield problem surfaces on the .25u. They have so little production 10% of 1.5M = 150,000, that any yield problems will only surface when in full production.

AMD had an yield problem on .5u and .35u and soon they will have an yield problem on a .25u.

But there is always the .18u to bail em out.

Does anybody know why AMD went up 2 points Friday? Seems like
we're in a can't lose market. Is it just lady luck or is it
wild speculation? Where are the profits?
