Actually, the bears comments could be justified by the fact that AMD reported losses which were 35% greater than the already downwardly biased expectations. What's the bulls' excuse for refusing to recognize the substantial problems still facing this company? Let's make this perfectly clear Kevin: news of the so-called fixed yield problems came out of Jerry Sanders mouth. That's your first warning signal, secondly, that claim immediately followed the news about soft demand and an existing inventory glut. Yeah, the yield problems were fixed alright, by weak demand. Finally, even if they had fixed it, who cares about yields on the outdated .35 micron process when Intel have moved the limbo bar to 0.25 micron on a massive production scale? AMD has a new set of hurdles even before it's negotiated the last set.
