Interesting problem, trying to estimate that. I thought I wouldn't use many. But I keep accumulating them. I like being able to segregate various projects. The cheaper they get, the more I will be inclined to get more. It saves me from having to choose how to arrange backups. I just throw all the project (A) stuff on one, and (B) on another, etc. Luxurious. At work we use a lot. But I realize everyone's situation is different.
