re house prices- It probably also means that the average person is carrying much more debt (at a lower interest rate) than they used to. If Greenspan isn't careful he'll create the same mess in the U.S. that Japan is in now. BTW I just looked at Madison prices- yikes! so cheap! starter houses here are 300K.
Hard to imagine anybody investing in this stock market when they can make an easy 15%+ return on rentals, I think that's the case where you are.
