Doubt it. Most of the employees from the small-cap days are long gone. Of course, they may still have their options, but I doubt if anyone below director level is walking around the halls at NETA with big bucks in their pocket.

A more likely scenario would be that the really good employees who had to "move or leave" would take their options and go play somewhere else...

Good guess but wrong!

TISX makes firewalls!

The engineers that were fired, Beaverton and Nashua, developed performance management software.

The engineers in Herndon work on help desk software.

The layoffs are a result of knowledge and fear.

Bill finally realized that Network General is broke and he has to try to SAVE his way to a profit.
