EC: I appreciate your rebuttals to these guys, but you really are wasting your time. They have their marching orders already. Surely
the comment "Asensio is very careful about his use of facts" pretty much sums up where they are coming from. That statement is just plain ridiculous.

E. Charters

Eric: You are right. At best, my careful speech indicates that I am careful. I didn't realize that was considered such an oddity in investing.

Your personal assessment of Asensio doesn't move me at all. If there are outright falsehoods in his statements, please point them out. I'm willing to be convinced but I'm not willing to accept your assertion without some supporting evidence.

With respect to an 'appeal', I defer to Crystallex's own public statements regarding the matter. That your knowledge of Venezuelan law does not extend to the fact that 'appeal' has a different meaning there than it does in Canada does not surprise me.

I prefer to think of myself as being on the side-lines rather than fence-sitting. Fences or side-lines, it isn't in northern Ontario. I made reference to Kapuskasing only because it is in your own bailiwick; from whence you survey the universe, taking care for all creatures great and small and giving special attention to Crystallex at the moment.

I'm not sure what you are suggesting about Linares. Surely it isn't that he is infallible. I thought that distinction was reserved for you. Surely you aren't seriously suggesting that Linares would be forced to close up shop if he lost this case. I didn't realize that there was such a surfeit of excellent lawyers in Venezuela that someone who lost one CSJ case in twenty years would forfeit all credibility.

You may use bold font or type in upper case, it doesn't convince or impress me. (I am thankful that you haven't resorted to rainbow hues, yet.) What has so far impressed me about your posts is your ignorance and your inability to either follow or advance an argument. That those traits and the arrogance with which they are displayed draw the accolades of some speaks volumes about their own abilities.

Regards.
