The most successful investors are those who are driven by a sense of gamesmanship, and who use intelligence and logic combined with a willingness to take chances sometimes to make their picks. They do not fear setbacks, but use them instead as lessons on which to draw for greater successes in future investments. You NEVER know exactly what is going to happen with a particular stock. It doesn't matter how bad or good a company looks on paper, things can turn on you in a heartbeat. I've lost thousands of dollars because of fear. A lot more than I've lost by taking chances. If fear is your guide, you are flying blind my friend. John M.
