Very well, since it is obvious that in SI it is ok to allow for someone to post anything they want, regardless if in the past it has been proven that those who post whatever rubbish they want is based on lies, distortion of the facts, and indeed attacks on other individuals with innuendoes of criminal activity.

Yet a few words of the venerable and wise Vulcan language seems to infringe far deeper in the puritanical principles of some, indeed seems to be sufficient to censor, (dare I say it?), freedom of expression...

Strange set of values. According to these puritanical values, it is o.k. to express the distortion of facts, to lie, and to make innuendoes of criminal activity in regards to others.... That's o.k.

But one can not express a fair opinion based on clear evidence, if in such expression, the wise language of the Vulcans is used... Amazing...

So, never you mind, here is the "edited", (some may say more "civil"), version of the prior response to the private message sent by someone who I deeply dislike.

I do not have to give reasons why, I simply do.

By the way, I thought we were going to get an "exclude" button...

I received this:

To the poster of the above:

Do not address me by private mail. I have nothing to say to you or the likes of you.

It is clear you have ill intentions and in the past you have shown your lack of integrity. That alone disqualifies you as someone I could have the slightest desire to enter into an exchange of anything, as you are incapable of producing anything of value that could possibly spark my interest.

Do not flatter yourself, it is a mere coincidence that I may express a specific view about anything, you could presume that such view would agree with anything your corrupt brain would be possible of expressing.

The coincidence of such event seems to me as strange as the fact that you would be capable of articulating a single valuable thought.

You see, the fact that you act based on instincts does not necessarily represent your ability to think, reason or being conscious of your actions, which I repeat, are mere reactions to outside stimuli.

Your capacity for consciousness can not enable you to comprehend what the meaning of ethics could mean, in fact, I doubt that you have ever read anything remote to a definition of ethics, let alone understanding it and being conscious of such principle.

I have no idea why you or v-s have addressed me, I have not addressed anything to you or the likes of you.

If whatever I say seems to fit you, well simply put on the jacket, that is not my problem, it is yours.

Do not respond to this note either, as I will simply click on "next"

Z.

Universal Competition: The Best Way To Ensure
Universal Service
EDITORIAL By Kevin Mayer

The FCC has an unenviable task: ensuring universal access
while promoting the deregulation of Telecommunications. At
first glance, these appear to be incompatible goals.
Universal access practically demands artificial incentives.
Without them, how could we be sure anyone would invest in
relatively unprofitable ventures, such as providing phone
or Internet access to rural areas? Yet, in the long term,
imposing regulations could prove self-defeating.

IDT Responds To FCC Regulation Plan With Free Phone Calls

Responding to the FCC's planned proposal to regulate
Internet telephony, IDT Corp. has announced that it will
offer free PC-to-phone calls: These are to enable
Americans to lobby their congressmen to ensure low-cost
phone calls over the Internet. By going to
net2phone.com users can call their Representative or
Senator, or the FCC directly, and plead a case for low-cost
phone calls, ensuring affordable communication to everyone
in the U.S. "We are calling for a citizens' uprising
against regulation," said IDT's CEO, Howard Jonas.

Analogic Presents European Counterpart To TAP-804

Analogic Corp. has introduced the TAP-804E computer
telephony processor, a new member of the TAP-800 family
that delivers 30 channels of G.723.1 voice compression -
an entire E1 trunk's worth - in a single PCI slot. The
TAP-804E is designed specifically for European
installations of advanced CTI applications, such as Voice
over IP. Its counterpart for American installations, the
TAP-804, supports 24 channels of G.723.1 voice
compression, consistent with T1 interfaces common in the
U.S.
