Other Chap I have never agreed with you in the past. But hee you are right if Hayton signs the checks he is most definately in control. If he doesn't it doesn't mean he isn't he could have somebody else doing it for him under his control. I suspect he has nothing to do with check signing. He may be listed as a signer because many times a company will have numerous signers for a variety of reasons and accounts.
