Call Diamet & Aber and ask them what their gem quality is. I'm sure they will tell you 25% - 30%. Incidentally, remember Diamet will be in production around the third quarter of 1998 and Aber is preparing to go into production in the next couple of years. The 5034 has 25% gem quality with a per tonne value of US. $82.50 for 15MM tonnes. A total single asset of approx. US. 1.2B. Sampling of Tesla, Tuzo & Hearne will provide us with a glimpse of their value in the short term. I'm guessing around the end of May. #693 - "Industrial grit" has no true marketable value and is not part of the bottom line. MPV's current gem quality is in line with Diamet & Aber. Honestly, who cares about Industrial grit and synthetics? Incidentally, De Beers is thrilled about the initial indicators of all of MPV's pipes. Again, they compare favorably with Diamet and Aber in this stage of development. You may want to consider going back and talking on the WSP thread.
