It is a scary world out there to be in the public eye or even just a school teacher.... Anyone see "The Fan"? DeNiro was excellent, but the tactics were the same as the nut starts out as a big sports fan who feels let down by his favorite sports Idol. He approaches and even befriends his idol before turning ugly. I can easily understand why Bob doesn't feel comfortable with this sort of tactic and might think "I don't need this." Not sure the best way to support Bob other than to allow him to be human, let him have fun boasting of his wonderful calls, and be a bit forgiving when he isn't perfect. We seem, as a group, to do pretty good with this, but I thought it worth posting anyway. BTW, someone just posted a great write-up on UTEK recently on my site that sure seems worth reading..... regards Kirk out

Marc: No you are not being overly suspicious IMHO although Brinker is supposedly under contract until the end of the year unless he has a "psycho-walk-out" clause. (BTW, there are other reasons why Brinker may have left the AOL board). With any luck, the Brinker "stalker(s)" will have lost interest soon enough. Or perhaps they will have secured the professional counseling they so desperately need and will have come to realize that Brinker is not the reason for the unhappiness in their lives. Brinker will have probably blown these pot shot artists off by then if he has not done so already.
