Nemer:

I trade with Freeman Wellwood in Seattle. They have a web site that has given me no trouble whatsoever with either access or trades. You can also call in and place orders on the phone if you don't want to mess with the web. Their commissions are not the lowest, but they're reasonable, and I don't mind paying a bit more to have the ability to speak with a live body. I have had only one problem with an option trade with them and that was not filling on an order one time (they had it with the CBOE and the low was on the Pacific Exchange).

You might want to check their web site: freemanwellwood.com

I see you have a couple of suggestions already.

My accountant costs a lot. I was going to add to my short position by selling a few spoos at 1121 before going off to see him. Obviously wish I took the risk, but I'm doing okay anyway.

The biggest problem I have with Man is my phone is set up for speed dial, so I occasionally hit the wrong button and get the options desk when I'm trying to get the Futures desk. I'm a moron.

Oops. TIKI maxed out. Always a wild moment. Here we go.....

Sorry. Man is good because I can get a fill on the phone. The floor trader's name is Pat, they took me down to see him. lended me a bit of confidence, knowing that if all else failed, Pat would work my order personally. Man will give you a market order fill while you wait. The commissions are about $40 a ten-lot. A limit order usually gets you a call-back in about 5~10 minutes after the trade. The Options desk is run by Pete Stolcers, at 800 437 8709.

My next turn is 3:30; then tomorrow, at 9:55 ET.
