Mike, Thanks for the reply. On a different subject, I see that GZTC filed a registration a Form S-3 for shares. But from what I see, it pertains to sale of stock owned by other shareholders who exercised or converted warrants and preferred shares to common. We may see a short-term stagnation or decrease in GZTC's stock price until the shares are unloaded.

Regards,
Bob

Freudian slip patrol: you wrote "loudness of the bank playing
"The Theme from "The Stripper"". Is that what we call Bubbles
in the financial market? Amazing what loose money will do to
supposedly conservative institutions...

(NB re loose money:
I don't quite share your negative views of Greenspan's policies
so far, but think Asian situation may ultimately
face him with difficulty in both maintaining a reasonable growth
rate and keeping inflation low.)

Cheers,

Howard

MB-
I'm interested in Nanogen, a small biotech Co. in San Diego, that will probably go public this week. I think their science is good. Mgmt team seems OK, some of the principals started LGND. How does one go about assessing the potential value of such an outfit? Is it better to wait and see how the market reacts or jump in at the IPO?

Thanx,
Marty

BTW- I think it's Morgan Stanley Dean Wittless handling the IPO.
