The scanner can predict the LIKLEHOOD of a heart attack, but it cannot predict WHEN the event will occur. The insurance companies are betting that it will occur on some one else's ticket. Health Care is a misnomer in this country. We have DISEASE CARE here instead. The insurance companies aren't interested in maybe's. They want to see a broken leg or stroke or something.

I had a terrible case of bronchitis last winter, very sick for 6 weeks. I went to a doc and he wanted to draw some blood. (probably wanted to see if I had an immune system) He stopped and said he had to check and see what my insurance would cover before he could take the test. I responded with a series of four letter words and told him to do whatever he felt was necessary. The test only cost $30. That's health care in America.
