The new issue of Worth magazine (which I received yesterday) has Newbridge in the list of "Stocks to Avoid". This month's (dis)-recommendations were made by Alan Hoffman, mgr of the Value Line Leveraged Growth Investors Fund. His reasons were:

1)falling sales of older products
2)UB Networks unit a drag on earnings.

I agree somewhat, but these problems are pretty much factored into the current price. Once the product transition from TDM to ATM gets settled down, we will see some outstanding growth. It's merely a matter of being patient. The key factor is the teleco's. They have stopped buying TDM gear because they know it's obsolete, but are still a little hesitant to jump into ATM with both feet.
