Ski,
I would like a bite out of that. A little cut&paste to a few of my investments. Neener, neener, neeeener!!! There is no more iron curtain!!!! Get your head out of your microscope/test tube/lab book or whatever. That wall came down at least 6 weeks ago!!! Sheesh! Yes, they probably do dress nicer, and Schnitzel THIS!!

BTW, what happened in 7/97? HUGE volume, very little price movement compared to the next 10 months. In fact looking at the chart, all the volume since then barely adds up to what was done then(7/97).

Hey Ski,

Got any good G2 on S3's ASPs? Since you sell against them,
you must have a rough number. My estimate is the MX is the
only chip with any decent margin left, all the rest are
el cheapo. Price is the only way to sell against
an ati or nvidia with higher performance.

For instance a diamond stealth 2000 with 4MB sells at
fry's for $69. The S3 chip is under 5 bucks, with a
profit margin measured in what...pennies?

Thanks,
Sid
