Brian, One example: Suppose we have a run up in DCI to some higher level and Joe announced that he would be supporting the bid at that price. Wouldn't this "news" just be peachy for the shorters that have been trying to apparently move large positions, resulting in a falling price and a lower resulting selling price to be able to hit a solid higher bid and make the company be the one to fork over those extra profits? I don't see any reason to reward the ones that are crushing us anymore than we have to. James
