Kevin, Re: AMD Roadmap,

Please stop wishing and hoping and start looking at reality. Intel will continue to stay at least 2 speed grades ahead of AMD this year. AMD is a great trading stock to own but till they prove they can beat Intel at its game, I would not hold it as an investment. I dumped the remainder of my AMD position first thing today (I was one of the damn profit takers). There will be time to trade AMD again when the next speculation cycle begins (and invest in it when and if they get ahead of Intel). Also now there are significant tasks (and risks) ahead for AMD (support of all infrastructure for Socket7 and supporting new instructions).

For what its worth, my prediction is that AMD might have limited volume 350MHz parts this year (till Q3 at least). If AMD were to surprise and intro speed grades higher than 350MHz (400MHz), you'll see Intel intro 500MHz P2 (that's right, you heard it here first).
However, AMD is now a legitimate x86 vendor at the low end (at the expense of Cyrix mainly) and will take market share from Intel in this segment.

Best of luck to AMD holders,
- MJ
