All,
I think I am missing something here. We are having lots of news releases with great info and everybody keeps talking about "wait until the end of the year for this to go well". Shouldn't we be doing well now with all the releases? It sounds to me that this stock will be doing much better sooner vs later.
Help.

P-A-M,

My thoughts exactly. The thing to remember about these deals is that they are currently doing one level of sales (8 million trailing twelve months) and are expected to reach a certain level by March 1999. This does not mean that theses companies will meet those forecasts. The telecommunications industry is pretty price competitive and these growth patterns can get cut off pretty quickly. That said, I'm still placing my money on JM at this point. I do think we will need to show in the next couple of quarters that these forecasted sales levels are achievable for any real price move to take place. The quarter ending June 98 will give a big clue as to how these acquisitions are measuring up. Any predictions on results ending 3-31? BTW, I did not receive my letter in todays mail.

PA, "I'm just learning about the fine art of shorting, and I have been perplexed by the idea that anyone would be shorting this stock at the current levels" I feel the same way. Good points you made in your post and they make sense to me. It does make sense that investors could be waiting for as you said tangible proof that the LOI's announced will in fact come aboard to make a committment. Personally I feel a lot more confident that we will see this happen with these new deals based on the reputation of the IB that apparently brought them to us.

Also, to anyone that might be wondering how many shares we now have out, I just checked with the Transfer agent and the number of shares now outstanding has DROPPED over 340,000 shares to 14,233,762 since the last time I checked 3/9/98. Obviously some of the shares from the BB have already been retired.
