<< I want you to promise me that you will maintain a large long position in YHOO for the current quarter. >>

<LOL> Why? Do you think there is something noble about sticking with a position for an extended period of time? Why should I restrict my trading like that? I will use everything at my disposal to help me make money and if it means selling and buying back cheaper, or selling and then shorting, I will do it.

Just remember that I have been short YHOO as well as long. I have no current position right now, so I am not some diehard YHOO junkie that never plans to sell.

Steve,

Why not own Yahoooo!? Or even daytrade the issue? This is the best momentum play issue on earth. Certainly you can make enough $$ to compensate for the loss while shorting issues. Yahoo! will very likely announce a split and since they beat first call by 100%, it will very likely set a new high tomorrow and keep rolling to 120+ in several sessions.

good luck,
