Check out the following question I submitted to WAVO, and their reponse just received. Although only part of my question was answered, I must say I like what they said!

MY QUESTION:

I am a new investor in WAVO. Can you please answer a technical question for me. Being that Microsoft will incorporate WAVO into Windows98. (1) Do you need to use Explorer to take advantage of WAVO, or can you use Netscape and Windows98. (2) If the Justice department delays Windows98 will it effect you negatively, or are you getting enough revenue stream from Intel in the form of royalties to keep you afloat.

Thank You!

RESPONSE BY WAVO (a quick response I might add!)

Yes, you do need IE 4.01 to use WaveTop. WaveTop uses the IE engine although it does not prevent you from using Netscape or any other browser. Windows 98 is set to come out in late June or early July. Microsoft has made ample changes to satisfy the DOJ and the release will not be hindered by them. Even if the release date was pushed back it would have no adverse effect on WaveTop.
