Hi Dave,

Just found your posts last nite. I got the picture of your EW analysis but unclear on some detail. Your call for today has been right on. Do you think tomorrow will see a short term rally, before the black MOnday or Wednesday next week?

David

Thanks for checking in. AS you may have noticed, a lot of discussion went on all morning.

Is it possible for the Wave rally to begin in SP8M in night trading. IF so, would you advis that we get out of our shorts by the end of today or continue to hold hoping for the wave 5 to end tomorrow and then wait for the wave 2 rally.

As i stated, i wouldn't be looking to
cover shorts unless we break 1100 on this move down,

I presume you are talking about June S&P. AS you knaow SPX already went as low as 1098.74

Once again, THANKS.

ratan

Closing Update: "Plenty of Go Power" NOT!! wave 5 fizzled at 3:56pm at around 1108, and we proceeded into Large Wave 2 up, a wave that will progress in an A up, B down, and C up formation. The close rallied to 1112. A will be a 5 wave move up, so I'll probably look for a daytrade opportunity tomorrow (or tonight, if globex dips) to buy back a few contracts under 1110, then resell them tomorrow somewhere north of 1118. This Large Wave 2 up should go pretty fast, since Large Wave 1 was so extended and complex. This pushes the big put buying opportunity to sometime mid-morning to early afternoon. Will advise as I see the wave formation progress. Hope you all did well in your shorts today, and get a good nights sleep for tomorrow!! You're gonna need it!! I'm napping out for a while, and will respond to all posts later this eve.

Yours,

David

S&P 500 JUN98 1112.90 +110

Are we going to have this wave mostly overnight, too?

I'm just closing my eyes and waiting for this last surge to be over!

PS I'm beginning to get interested in Wave theory for stocks. Shouldn't be too hard for an EE, right?
