well.....it was, however, now it is about even, although it has
very strong support at 24, it has bounced off of this numerous times
in the last couple days, even in the down market.

Scba -- cpq is about at its bottom I think. I think it's in a 2 or 3 point tradning range which will hold until earnings and specifics about the merger. OT -- was just slumming over on the AOL thread and it's being rumored over their that AOL has it's beady little eyes on SI. If AOL buys SI I'll be rabid. Guess I'll have to find the full list of their no-no words (including "breast", if you can believe it) and make sure every post I make includes at least one. dulane

Not really. You can't judge COMPAQ by the DOW and the NASDAQ got a little tech bounce today. If NASDAQ continues to slide COMPAQ will go with it but I do believe the bottom is probably near. If NASDAQ can hold then I think it's back to the trading range for awhile.
