Chris; Let me know if that 1/64 fills..yiks !
I'l holler id my 1/32 fills..
sometimes I think it's your broker and who they feed the
bid/ask to..I found that some brokers while you get a discount
only feed to certain market makers..( they get a piece of the
spread from the market maker ) also some brokers hold positions
in the highly traded NYSE stocks and fill orders right out of their
own inventory. Like when I do a sell or buy of say 300 CPQ..
if I hit market it moves that second..broker takes or gives it
to me. It's then sent to the exchange as part of a bigger package,
If I do limit..it will sit untill package is ready at that price.
Sometimes if my limit is at bid or ask it will move fast, but
not always, some times I get better with the limit..
but not so with market..I get the exact quote..bid or ask..
were I have got improvements on limit orders. Thing is they
may not take..if the stock is trending.
