Good Evening Margaret and all,

The last several days regarding National Semiconductor and Advance Micro Devices reminded me of a couple of hugh empty trash cans which gotten blow over by a lot of wind. The trash cans then started rolling down a street making a lot of clang clang. Many of the those analyst who have the mentality of an empty trash can concluded in their dim wit that the investment community should focus their attention away from Intel and towards Amd and National Semi. I suppose their logic is that if IBM is putting a lot of money into AMD that it cannot fail. Personally I would not invest a dime in either IBM, AMD or National Semi.

After the market closes on April the 14th Intel will report its quarterly earnings. I think that everyone is on edge now because if the Asian Contagion is going to have any effect on technology, it should be showing the results very shortly.

Hope that you had a nice Thursday
Warm Regards
Frank
