Wow. Groupers are impressive, no? The mouth on that ****er is big enough to do a <GULP> on you. That always left me feeling... respect.

I think the only thing I've ever seen in the water that was bigger than me were the turtles in Hawaii. Thank goodness. I don't think I would like to see anything bigger than me either. The turtles are very un-afraid and just go about eating unless you really hassle them, which of course you don't do. They are so obviously benevolent ~ just seeing them is a thrill. They hit 350-400 lbs, and are much bigger than you, like a cow, with wings.

I wanna see a manatee. (start poem)

But I understand snorkelers disturb them, so there you go.
