aol is a monopoly in as much as what it provides. Aol caters for PC users who want their hand held while they are online. I dismissed aol as a loser last year because it does not add anything to the internet experience which you cannot have just using a brouser and say AT&T internet access. What I overlooked is that aol makes the www more userfriendly for those who dont have a clue about computers. And lets face it most people dont have a clue. That is the key to aol's success! Any comments about this assessment?
