I agree, Unix is superior in robustness, and the marketing was ahead of the technology. I never said NT was the *most* robust OS available, but I do believe it is finally robust enough (when combined with servers from Compaq or Dell) to deploy a major web operation on.

All things are relative. I'm comparing my current experience to the days of NT 3.5, when web servers would inexplicably crash every few hours (the time between crashes was inversely proportional to the traffic level). The stability and scalability were truly pathetic.

You may need to install the latest hotfix (post-SP3) to stop your blue screen problem. I believe it's caused by badly formed network packets (which can be intentionally created by a hacker in "Bonk" or "Teardrop" attacks, for example).
