Byron: You ask: > Do you still see a less than 10% correction in high tech? How low do you see SUNW, INTC, DELL, MSFT, CSCO, CPQ, ORCL go? You have no idea how much I wished I knew the correct answers to your questions, and if I knew them believe me I would be sitting right now in my dream front beach mansion in Tahiti enjoying the sun set instead!! In my humble opinion only here is what I think: The correction will continue to happen till end of May, but I do not believe it would be as sever as I expressed earlier and had thought due to the market psychology. At most 10% (and even that is going to be very short lived). As for specifics, such as SUNW I currently have an open order to buy at $37.75, and also at $35 and then at $33. Wether the stock will go to these prices I dont know for sure but I believe it will and that is why I am planning to buy all my shares back. I currently have just a little (retained only about 6% of what I had and then bought more a few weeks ago when it dropped to under $38 so over alll I have sold 90% of my SUNW shares). But will be buying them back IFF it comes to the prices I mentioned. As for DELL, I have no idea! I am however somewhat invested heavily in CPQ and am betting on them more than on DELL. Bought some CPQ a few weeks ago at $23 and change and some last week at $26.5 and will be buying more if it drops to $22. As for MSFT I have not bought any recently but will be buying if the stock comes down to $65-$67/shr. CSCO I own none and am not planning to buy any either. I have a huge position that is about 1 year old in ASND and I think they will do extremely well for the next few quarters. Currently I am 50% cash and 50% in stocks. As for ORCL and INTC your guess is as good as mine! If you want to invest inn semiconductors, LSI Logic is perhaps the best bet right now (currently it is my number 1 core holding, I have been accumulating from the highs of $52/shr in 95 to the lows of $18 earlier this year). The stock has been severely beaten down for the past year or so and they are about to change (thanks to the telecommunication/digital sectors of the industry). So there you have it! But note again these are just my humble opinion which have proven to be wrong many times in the past over and over ! Regards, Addi Jamshidi
