Pay you dues to Uncle Sam, and you will get more profits.

AMES have to reticket to have people come in to look at the change in price every week. That is the secret of running stores. Otherwise, customers come in and it is the same old store; nothing to buy. The second secret is move only a few items down; move the rest up on those inventory that you do not want to change to cash. This is the upscale formula. Discount you go out of business, cutting prices. Upscale you cut prices to turn over; but make more margins on everything else.
