Dear AMD,
I bought an AMD K6 200 powered Acer computer several months ago and
loved it so much that I advised my brother to buy an Acer K6 machine
which he just did -- a 233. Thank you for a wonderful chip at a
great price. It's terrific that you're supporting Socket 7 to keep
computer costs down. I'm very excited about the upcoming K6 3D and
the K6+ 3D with the 100 Mhz AGP motherboard and plan to upgrade my
machine to it the first of next year. I love your open architecture
approach to product development because it drives the entire
industry forward. I'll never buy Intel again. Keep up the great
work! Todd Hester, Hermosa Beach, CA,

Could you please send me info on the AMD CPUs currently shipping and
available in South Africa. I am a long-time AMD CPU fan, as they are
a darn sight cheaper than Intel-based systems out here and often
perform much better. Either way, price/performance on AMD makes it a
better buy. Yours sincerely, Lloyd De Jongh

Brazil
First, I would like to thank AMD for the opportunity it gives the
consumer of having an option (even a better one, which is great). I
also welcome the enterprise between AMD and IBM for the production
of K6. I hope it will make possible an enlargement of AMD's
marketshare, since such a great product (K6) should be more
widespread. In my country (Brazil), few people know about it, and
it's a shame. A little advertisement around here would make a lot of
difference for the consumer. Think about it! Regarding to your new
products AMD K6 3D MMX and K7, when there will be more information
available? I'm very interested in learning more about them.
Thanks, Fabiano Nagel

Thank you for your support and interest in AMD!
