How does one short this stock?

Just call your friendly broker and say: " Please sell short 10,000 shares of WAND at the market".

You could use a limit price but just don't miss the sale.

Tam....you need a good broker. You simply go short instead of going long....on a short, you are betting it goes down instead of going up.

The mechanics are as follows:

You need to borrow the stock in order to sell it. So the first thing you do is ask your broker if he/she can borrow the stock. They may not be able to borrow it because 1) the float is thin (and insiders can own a large percentage of the shares that are already illiquid), and 2) the institutions that are long sometime get smart and request their broker NOT TO LEND out their stock.

Assuming your broker can borrow, then they can sell it. They can only do this on an uptick in the stock.

good luck.
