Paul, I vaguely remember your telephone calls. I was thrust into a
position of taking calls from people Mo or Mike didn't want to talk to.
Initially I would try to find out what the caller wanted, and convey
this to Mike. Mike would constantly promise me he would call them back.
Mohamed said that "just because someone had his phone number didn't mean
he was obligated to talk to them."

If I hung up on you, it was probably because you had already been
avoided using your real name. I don't recall this, but I don't doubt it
happened.

I was in a "no win" situation. If I spoke with Investors and gave them
any answer, it was automatically the wrong one. If I didn't take the
calls shunned by Mike and Mohamed, I was doing wrong. If I told Mike
someone had called and he said "I will talk to them within the next 15
minutes"--and never did--I was the one who had to answer for it, as I
had relayed Mike's promise. {Mark Rutheiser--for one-- can attest to the
times he phoned, was promised a return call from Mike by me, and it
never happened.

Finally, Paul I more than likely read your post where you called me an
SOB. I took that insult, personally, and most likely put you on the
bottom of the list in terms of people to whom I would talk.

P. S. I do remember the period of time when people were trying to obtain
the number for the buying group. We were under strict instructions from
Mike Rehtorik not to reveal anything about the group other than that
which had appeared in the press release. So, here I was fronting
hundreds of calls each day and couldn't give them an answer; Jeff
Silverman, on the other hand, was allowed to "leak" confirmation after
conversing with Mike.
