Pete...

120,000,000 possible below average intelligent people???? Good! Because it's going to take that many to make the stock go up <LOL> ...because the company sure isn't doing a great job lately...And before everyone jumps, yes, I still have my stock., but am feeling like one of those 120,000,000 every day lately.. sure isn't looking at what I thought it was cracked up to be....Still no liners..Sorry, no excuse...They are supposed to be running a business. They had the $$...Sterling started making payments a while back!!!...Where are the numbers before this? They didn't just start mining last week or two....I am greatly disappointed to say the least..at this moment, I can't help but feel at this moment, the ones who will make out is Sterling....they get a good percentage plus down the road can sell their shares for a good profit...I'd like to know they are doing more than just a Downey Show...How about contacting some professional people/institutions...My biggest concern is that I am under the impression that Sterling has some say over how the money is going to be spent, etc.....Now, if you were sterling, and knew you didn't start earning any percentage until all money was paid, would you go full blast now, or have the company spend money doing more exploring and readying for the future a year down the road...Do you want a percentage of as much as you can get, or do you want a small percentage and tell the company to go ahead and give it away for a full year...meanwhile, it's a great opportunity to buy very low if they wish to buy more...I know this is one not so hot post, but am feeling disgusted at the moment I guess...Anyone have any good info that I can sink my teeth into. Don't tell me to call Lionel, as I'll probably throw a rock at him at the moment <G>...

Well you have a point - my purpose was to try and point out situations which have potential based on proven reserves, and also have exploration situations that can be speculated on. The point was that BCMD does not exhibit a better potential than many other situations. Hundreds of these plays on the Canadian markets - Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal. I was trying to get people to compare, more objectively, against different gold plays that are currently available. Each of the ones I mentioned have various problems, and are all risky, but they do share one thing in common - proven, major, real reserves.
Even pathetic TVI has the reserves - but needs higher metal prices - so too, RYO.
When you figure that BCMD has not even got that far, and you compare potential and shares out - a real long shot.(IMO) So the play is on the promotion, news releases, - big production far away and costly.
I could have listed many more, but I confess that I do play all the ones I mentioned for different reasons, and in different ways.
From a Canadian point of view, I have to say honestly that this BCMD thread interests me, because it seems to have a larger following than I would expect from such a situation. It has the feel of a typical Vancouver penny gold, but with a vast U.S. audience. Does this U.S. base make people feel more secure?? Like the promoters are a different breed? I doubt that.
Whatever the case, I will trade BCMD when(if) the volumes and price action looks good - currently it does not.
Many gold stocks are performing now - don't miss it - the action is now. If the gold price moves and you want action - look to the leverage - plays where a threshold price will suddenly turn those proven unhedged reserves into big potential profit.
Good luck.

Eric
